Daniel Lynch has paid the back taxes on a ranch for the last two years, and he believes that finally the property, complete with an almost mythical peach orchard, will finally be his. However, the previous owner had willed the property to Winona Snow, and she shows up on his doorstep with her little sister in tow, suffering from a bout with malaria.
