It felt so right -- how could it be wrong? Sara Deane thought she'd been in love before -- she'd certainly known the heady thrill of romance. However, loving Cal was a different experience altogether. For, nestled in the shy woodworker's massive embrace, she felt wholly at peace -- as if, at last, she'd come home. But Cal refused involvement, saying she was a teacher, he was only a carpenter and the distance between them was just too vast to be bridged. Intuitively Sara knew he wasn't telling her the whole truth. So she devised a foolproof plan to discover it...
