The desert offered a challenge -- and terror. Amber and her companion, Ian, eagerly set out to explore an ancient fort deep in the Sahara. But their adventure abruptly ended when a bullet whined past their jeep. Seconds later a volley of shots filled the air. "Get out!" Ian shouted, halting the jeep near a clump of rocks. Amber scrambled to obey…and caught sight of the gun in his hand. "I have three bullets left"; he said curtly. Amber's mind reeled. Why were they being attacked? And how long could they hope to escape death?
