"WHEN MURDER HAPPEN, THE EVIL ONE NEVER LEAVES GO AWAY, MA'MSELLE!" Within a day of arriving at the Louisiana mansion that was to be her new home, Kate Warner had two shocks -- the black-clad woman who appeared on a bench outside the house in the night, and a menacing warning from a mysterious sinister Cajun from the bayou.
