Biography

As an author for Harlequin Romance, Joan Walker published one novel. She also wrote a humourous autobiography called Pardon My Parka, published in 1954 by Arthur Banker Ltd, London (UK) and later reprinted by Harlequin, which was awarded the Stephen Leacock Memorial Medal for Humour in 1954.

She was born in the UK, and came to Canada in 1946 as a war bride.
