Book Description
Stunned after the death of her parents, Chiara left her home in Italy to go to the Scottish Highlands to visit her grandfather. There, to her surprise, she learned that her grandfather intended to leave his home, Castle Eyrie, jointly to Chiara and her sort-of cousin Campbell Roberts - rather unfairly, she thought as the castle was Campbell’s home after all. But Campbell was less concerned, apparently, than she was and he decided that the solution to the problem was for the two of them to marry. Without, of course, consulting her. Which was a pity, for in other circumstances she would not have been altogether unwilling. But now, of course, wild horses wouldn’t make her accept him!
