Was this scanned in? I think there may be some typos, e.g. the use of the word 'sane': 'If the heroine is interested in sane other men, there should be no more than two' and 'Hopefully, the first sex will appear within the first 50 manuscript pages. If not, at least sane passionate embraces'. There's also 'she knows hew to dress well', 'The author mast be able to speak authoritatively' and 'Lave scenes can be dynamic'.

I'm not sure about the punctuation in these 2 sentences:

she may also have some personal problems. 'these she recognizes and eventually overcomes.

Why does that second sentence seem to start with an apostrophe?

Yes, scanned. I've been doing a lot of clean-up on these today, but (obviously!) missed a few typos. These come from very old copies of copies of copies of copies -- it's amazing to see stuff produced in the typewriter era! I'll clean up the typos you caught! --Romancewiki 16:38, 20 January 2007 (PST)

These guidelines are fascinating. I'm really glad you're putting them up on the Wiki. I did think the scanning errors were quite funny, though, particularly the sane other men and the laving scenes.
