Biography
Linda Lewis graduated from the Southern Methodist University Law School. She served as an assistant U.S. Attorney, an assistant District Attorney, and a tax court litigator. She is also known as Dixie Kane and Linda Kay. Her real name was Linda Kay West. West passed away on March 1, 2004, and in her memory, the Southern Louisiana Chapter of the Romance Writers of America established the Dixie Kane Memorial Contest. The contest was put on hold when Hurricane Katrina hit Louisiana. It has recently resumed.
As an author for Silhouette Romance, Linda Lewis published three novels.
