The following members have served as President of the [[Romance Writers of America]]. Office terms currently run from November 1 - October 31. While RWA Presidents previously served two-year terms, current Presidents spend one year &amp;quot;training&amp;quot; as President-Elect before serving as the organization's President. This allows for smooth transitions and gives the new President the necessary experience to begin work immediately.&lt;br /&gt;
