When an inhuman scream silences the night creatures in a Pennsylvania woodland, Alliana Cambridge isn't afraid. She's angry. When she goes in search of the source of that tortured sound she expects to find another drunken hunter injured by his own gun.

Instead she finds something indescribable. He's six feet of sensuous panther-black skin stretched over taut muscle. His green eyes glow with feral intelligence and though she can't speak his language, Alli knows he's asking for her help. She watches as his magnificent body heals itself of a vicious gunshot wound and she wonders if he's come to enslave humans, starting with her.

Of course, she's probably dreaming. After all, magnificent feline aliens don't normally roam the woods behind Alli's home. If he's still there, in her bed, in the morning ... well, she'll worry about it then.
Myths, legends, or terrifying curses? Relics- four mysterious and powerful remnants of history that impact four lives and take love to the outer limits of the imagination.

RELIC CONTAINS 4 EROTIC PARANORMAL ROMANCE NOVELLAS

Merlin's Eye by Ellen Ashe: Unscrupulous book dealer, Roger Brinckworthe has made a fortune buying and selling antiquated medieval manuscripts. Following a lead on an ancient Druid Book of Verses, he travels to England's famed witch country to find that the mysterious heiress, Victoria Elwell, has her own agenda, and that Devon's witchcraft is not confined to the pages of history.

Sixth Day of the Moon by Celia Ashley: Trial by fire is not just an expression for Moira Delaney. Struck by lightning while on an archeological dig, Moira is transported thirteen hundred years into Ireland's past. Forced to seek the protection of a young warrior prince from the violent impulses of his brother, she discovers the price of guardianship is a night of pleasure, while the outcome of treachery is a soul destined to search for another through time.

Lord of the Night by Annalee Blysse: Camille didn't believe her grandfather's claim that the relic she found proved there was life on other planets. Yet, she believed that she was falling for a shape shifting jaguar. But could she trust her heart when Merrick admitted his brother claimed her first? She'd never been successful with men, so what on Earth would she do with two jaguars?

Curse of the Cat's Paw by Tracy L. Ranson: Some myths are real, others legendary.... Sinister legends and deadly forces shroud Jamie, keeper of the mysterious mummified cat's paw, on her journey to the misty moors of Scotland. Once there, she hopes to right the wrongs of the past, counting on everything to go smoothly. What she doesn't count on is the sexy as hell Scotsman, Ian Munro. Can she return what is rightfully his without sacrificing her heart?
Instead she finds something indescribable. He's six feet of sensuous panther-black skin stretched over taut muscle.

New Concepts Publishing publishes romance and erotic romance electronically and in trade paperback. Their books are available at major bookstores.

About
New Concepts Publishing, the first totally electronic romance publishing house, was established in the spring of 1996. NCP went on-line with their first four novels, Amber Moment, Lord of Chaos, Liar's Poker, and Shattered Dreams, in October of 1996. At first publishing only 2 to 4 novels a month, NCP is now publishing 8 to 20 novels and short stories every month. NCP paved the way for many current independent e-publishers' success with innovative author contracts, royalty percentages, and by taking chances on fresh and original books. E-publishing is now a force to be reckoned with--it has changed the way major NY publishers deal with authors--and we are proud to have been on the forefront of this burgeoning market!

NCP currently receives between 25,000 and 45,000 hits to their website every day. We have numerous authors making between $1,000 and $10,000 in royalties every pay period, with that number growing exponentially each month. It is our goal to have all of our authors making a comfortable living exclusively by writing within the next several years if they can work full time as with any other career. Since 2003 our sales have doubled--and sometimes tripled--every quarter, and we are well on our way to becoming a multi-million dollar company by 2006.

Our print books are widely distributed through Ingram's, Baker & Taylor, Bertram's, and many other distributors, and our Trade Paperbacks are sold throughout Waldenbooks across the country as well as a growing number of fine independent bookstores. Our e-books consistently hold many of the top 25 best-selling e-book positions on Fictionwise.com, the leading retailer of e-books.

The primary goal of New Concepts Publishing, from its inception, was to bring high quality fiction to book lovers. By offering our authors generous royalty percentages and creative freedom, we've not only attracted many fine authors, but can offer work 'written from the heart', fresh, excitingly different stories stringent guidelines would not allow.
New Multicultural Line
HARMONY™

Harmony™ line is all about romance and the harmonious blending of races and cultures. These are MULTI-RACIAL romances, not simply interracial romances, and race issues should NOT hang over the storyline like a dark thundercloud. The conflict, as with any other romance, should arise from the characters themselves and should be strong enough to carry the story, and yet resolvable. Bringing together racists is not resolvable conflict within the confines of a book and therefore not desirable as the primary conflict of the story. The hero and heroine can be of the same race, or of two different races. The main difference between the romances written for the Harmony line and other romances is that Harmony will bring color and intriguing cultures together so that readers of many backgrounds and races will have characters to fall in love with and identify with. Authors should keep in mind when they sit down to develop a storyline for Harmony that, regardless of race, creed, color, or religious background, women are women, the world over, all searching for that special someone to love who will give them love and passion in return.

Authors should always remember that romances are stories designed to fulfill every woman's fantasy, and Harmony™ is no exception.

Stories for the Harmony™ line should follow the general guidelines of any good futuristic, fantasy, historical, or paranormal romance. We are primarily seeking stories in these genres that are spicy or erotic in sensuality. A query letter and synopsis should be emailed to submissions@newconceptspublishing.com.

Please note: We will continue to consider multi-racial romances for our NCP romance line if it does not meet our goals for the Harmony™ line.

BOOK DESCRIPTION

Perry Madison loved her beautiful ancestral, fieldstone home and hired handsome Ethan Taylor to refurbish it. But as soon as she settled in, a mysterious, sensual stranger called to her from the mists. No sooner had Ethan decided to help the enigmatic beauty, than he found himself possessed by a powerful, malevolent energy that threatened both their lives. As a dangerous lust engulfed them, drew them wildly together in unquenched desire, neither could be sure of their own feelings. Was this madness-or an angry, undead presence trying to relive the passions of the past...?

BOOK DESCRIPTION

Her dreams of intimacy are vivid, explicit, and violent- a cruel mixture of a lonely heart and the scenes of six gruesome murders that Detective Regina Page is at a loss to solve. But when she receives a mysterious phone call, from a man who calls himself Dorantes, a man who states he is a witness, her grip on reality begins to change. She agrees to meet him at an abandoned warehouse on the waterfront, not far from where the bloodless corpses were found, and when he begins an eerie seduction that sweeps her through time's portals, she believes he is more than a witness--he is of the undead. But each carnal midnight tryst reveals horrifying secrets, and one-by-one ornate masks are discarded, and she must face not only her own forgotten past, but a future ensnared in the embrace of sheer evil.

They were warriors, comrades and blood-brothers, until a sexual indiscretion tore their friendship apart. As dark sorcerers they each cheated death, waiting for the centuries to pass, waiting for the coming of age of one woman--untouched, gifted, and marked--the one who would resurrect their longstanding hatred from beyond the mists of time. Wyldelock De Croft finds her first, begins an urgent seduction, but Dietrick Von Der Weilde doggedly pursues them both with unimaginable strength and terror. And Olivia must stand firmly in her conviction of love for Wyldelock, the man she believes fate has destined to be her lover. BOOK DESCRIPTION

Kirkland Hall is haunted. Kate Daniels, part inheritor to the estate, knows nothing of its history--that four hundred years ago rival clans separated two lovers by murder--and that these tortured spirits have spent centuries searching for each other. Nor does she know anything about the dark and moody 'caretaker', Alex MacTavish. The trip to Scotland was meant to be a holiday before selling her share of the estate back to its rightful owner.

No sooner had Kate arrived however, when she felt as though the house was not only whispering its welcome, but pleading for her help. A phantom horseman rides the moors, a ghostly fire sweeps through the corridor, a woman's desperate screams--echoes of a brutal past- reaching through the mists of time. And as her relationship with Alex begins to deepen, Kate discovers that fate has had a hand in bringing them together.

BLURB

BLURB

* Romance Junkies - 4 Blue Ribbons ~ Angel Brewer - "RELIC I is a great combination of four talented authors who bring together stories filled with myth and legend. Each story has wonderful characters that intrigue the reader and extraordinary plots that hold them captive until the very end. There is a sensuality and romance to each story that makes it magical."
