=== Biography ===

Angeleque Ford is the nom de plume for a voluptuous woman whose family heritage is a sensual mix of African-American, Irish, Native American and Italian.

Angeleque is a newer author in the publishing world. She is a full-time writer in addition to working her day job. Angeleque has always dreamed of being a published author and is happy to say her dream is beginning to come through. Currently she has two novellas out with more in the works and is working on two full-length novels (an erotic, multi-cultural urban fantasy with romantic elements and a multi-cultural young adult novel).

She has lived her entire life in beautiful Detroit, Michigan. When she's not writing or working her day job she enjoys cooking, baking, gardening, candle-making, crocheting and quilting, bargain shopping and being with her family and friends. She is either curled up with a good book or shopping online for shoes & purses. She loves to travel, has a thirst and passion for life and love that shines through in her writing.

Angeleque is also a voracious reader, writes articles on writing and her writing life and has been a book reviewer for Romance Divas and currently reviews books for Night Owl Romance.

== FAQs about my writing ==

=== Why Multi-Cultural and Inter-Racial? ===

When I was younger I read countless books and stories that didn’t have many characters of color (non-white) characters. I used to “picture and portray” the heroine and her friends as little brown-skinned, caramel toned girls. Because as a reader, I want my stories to reflect the diversity of this world we live in. I want my characters to reflect me, my family and friends.

=== How would I describe my books? ===

My books are about the journey of relationships between two people be they heterosexual or homosexual and the ups & downs, triumphs and tragedies that threaten to tear them apart but only brings them closer. Sometimes that journey is erotic in nature but not just from a sexual standpoint. Because for a relationship to succeed, at least in my opinion, there has to be some level of intimacy and the closer you get to people, the more comfortable you become with them, especially on an intimate level, you can see how the interaction and intimacy changes and enhances the relationship, makes them stronger, helps build a bond.
Trina never dreamed that work would threaten the deep relationship she had with her fiancé Derek, the talented leader of Throwback, an up and coming Jazz group just ready to release their first CD. Their love connection has become more about hurried sex than the deep bond they shared from the start. In order to heat up their faltering relationship, Trina tries some drastic measures. Will she get through to Derek? Or will their love become another entry into the diary of her life?

== Reviews ==

=== From Romance At Heart ===

Diary of A Love is an enjoyable short story. It starts out with an introduction of how Trina and Derek met then the author turns to five years later where they are engaged to marry. Angeleque Santiago spins the tale of a couple searching to keep their love strong. The writing is smoothly done, graphing a lovely tale of two people facing life’s challenges as Trina feels threatened by her fiancé Derek’s up and coming release of the bands first CD. Even their moments of sex have been instant. There is separation, determination and even a drastic part on Trina to keep her love alive. She only wishes to be a part of his life once more.

Diary of a Love is a story about commitment. A story that brings two people together out of love for each other while supporting them in their life long dream. It demonstrates how perseverance can heighten any relationship if either person is willing to work hard at it and not throw in the towel. I was very impressed with the characters in the story. Ms. Santiago creates a delightful short story that touches the heart. The incorporating of the diary and the CD carried a strong meaning behind it that this reader thoroughly enjoyed. If you haven’t read this short story, you are in for a treat.

=== From Coffee Time Romance ===

Ms. Santiago has given us an afternoon delight on what it takes for a relationship to endure, remembering the good times when the bad times overwhelm us. The characters and the situation was believable, as well as the emotional ups and downs. I look forward to seeing more of this author’s work.

=== From Romance Divas ===

Diary of Love is an erotic love story that is in a league of its own! The characters and plot were surprisingly well developed for such a short novel. There is nothing hotter than a sexy musician or the woman who loves him. Angeleque Santiago is an awesome storyteller. Diary of Love is a must read! I will be recommending this to all my friends.

=== From Falling Angel Reviews ===

This is a sweet story about the rough times of a relationship and how reminiscing can help you remember your reasons for your actions. Trina was understandably frustrated with Derek, but I liked how Derek was sweet about it and how Trina looked to her diary to help her out. This is a nice short story; I’d love to read more from this author.

* [[Angeleque Santiago]]

=== Biography ===

=== Why Multi-Cultural and Inter-Racial? ===

=== Biography ===

=== Why Multi-Cultural and Inter-Racial? ===
