==Book Description==

There are pugs in the Metropolitan Museum of Art!

Hope McNeill has worked at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for years, but this is the first time she's been able to bring along her pug, Max. (Officially at least. Previously she's had to smuggle him in inside her tote bag.)

The occasion: a special "Pug Night" party in honor of a deep-pocketed donor. Max and his friends are having a ball stalking the hors d'oeuvres and getting rambunctious, and making Hope wonder if this is also the last time she gets to bring Max to the museum.

But when a prized painting goes missing, the Met needs Hope's--and Max's--help. In her quest for the culprit, Hope searches for answers with an enigmatic detective, a larger-than-life society heiress, a lady with a shih tzu in a stroller, and her arguably intuitive canine. With luck, she'll find some inspiration on her trips to Pug Hill before the investigation starts going downhill...

WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH, THE TOUGH GO TO THE PUGS...

For Hope McNeill, pugs are love, unconditional friendship, happiness, and freedom. She doesn't have one of her own (busy life, tiny apartment), but she does have Pug Hill in Central Park, where pugs (and their owners) from all over New York convene.

She also has a crush on one of her co-workers, a flailing romantic relationship, and an unspeakable fear of public speaking. Then Hope's father calls with an assignment: to make a speech at her parents' anniversary party. Frantic, she signs up for a public speaking class, but can't help wondering -- will it transform her into an eloquent orator? Maybe some fears are so big that even all the pugs in the world might not be enough to assuage them.
==Book Description==

After her divorce, Amy Dodge thought she'd finally write the next Great American Novel. Instead she's written a bestselling children's book series, "Run, Carlie, Run!" starring her adorable and spirited West Highland White terrier and a dashing (but fictional) Scottish explorer. When Carlie is offered a starring role in her own television show, and the explorer begins to take on a life of his own, Amy's world takes a surreal turn.

But just when Amy starts thinking it's a dog's life after all, she figures out a way to make everything change. And though life in New York isn't always a walk in the park, it might just take her exactly where she needs to be.

==Book Description==

The acclaimed author of PUG HILL and IF ANDY WARHOL HAD A GIRLFRIEND returns with a story of two sisters who've grown up, grown apart -- and grown a little too much for their liking....

These days, the Isley sisters' sense of camaraderie isn't what it used to be. They're leading their own lives, with less in common every day. Stephanie is an overwhelmed stay-at-home mom with a handsome husband and a six-month-old baby. Meredith has a successful career as a New York restaurant critic, but her only future companion may be a yoga-loving dog. Sometimes it seems the only thing they still share is their mutual desire to lose weight.

So they decide to do it together, to turn back the clock to the slim self that Stephanie wants back and Meredith always wished for, and to the easy affection that once let them share everything. Only "everything" is harder now. Because neither sister has been completely honest about things that are very close to home....

SHE KNOWS ALL ABOUT ART,
BUT DOES SHE KNOW WHAT SHE LIKES?

Jane Laine used to know a lot about art. But that was before she started managing a prominent gallery, and long before she met "it" artist Ian Rhys-Fitzsimmons. Jane can't seem to put a finger on what exactly is so "it" about his work. In fact, as far as she can tell, he's a big fraud and his fifteen minutes of fame should be over by now. Which could be kind of a problem -- since Jane is the one who has to accompany him on a five-month international art fair tour.

To get through it all, Jane figures she'll be a good sport and keep her critiques to herself. Until, traveling with this alleged genius from London to Rome and beyond, she starts to understand the connection between art and love -- and the fact that in both, perspective is everything.
==Book Description==

Melanie Ann Muessen rides through the sunburnt plains of New Mexico Territory to photograph its inhabitants in their natural surroundings. What she discovers is a village in crisis. Years before, Rafael de Aguirre became the Renegade and protected the Tewa Pueblo. But Rafe is gone, and trouble has come again. Tewa's residents have no one to turn to--surely not their old savior's brother. The half-Zuni Diego is handsome, but he is shiftless and worthless. The villagers are convinced there is no way he could don Rafe's mask. But Melanie recognizes that in Diego's veins pumps the blood of a hero. This man can rescue his people, but first she will have to reclaim him from himself. And the only way to do that is to win his renegade heart.
==Book Description==

==Book Description==

The sight of Rafael de Aguirre makes Evelyn Reid's pulse race. He is accused of murdering the man she had come to the New Mexico Territory to join, and of being the masked renegade who defies the local landowners. Yet in addition to the schoolmaster's dark good looks and seemingly gentle nature, something leaves Evelyn unconvinced of his guilt. He is clearly not innocent, however--his heated gaze proves that--and she vows that before all is done, she will see his secrets unveiled. For Evelyn, Rafe allows himself to be captured. She is the only one who can clear his name, yet is the one least likely to do so. Still, though it puts him in terrible peril, Rafe knows uncovering his face and surrendering his body is his only hope of salvation. Where he and the stubborn beauty will go from there, he can only imagine.
Sheep, sheep, sheep Ach! The bumbling boobs were everywhere, and as far as Molly was concerned, the stupid beasts were better off mutton. But Molly was a sheepdog, a Scottish Border collie, and unless she found some other means of livelihood for her lovely mistress, Miren, she'd be doomed to chase after the frustrating flock forever. That's why she was tickled pink when handsome Nathan MacCullum came into Miren's life. Sure, Nathan seemed to have issues of his own to resolve?although why people were so forever concerned about righting family wrongs was beyond Molly?but she knew from his scent he'd be a good catch. And she know from Miren's pink cheeks and distracted gaze that his hot kisses were something special. Now she'd simply have to herd the spirited Scottish lass and brooding American together, and show the silly humans that true love?and a faithful house pet?were all they'd ever need.

DELICIOUS DRAUGHT...
Eliana Daere was the greatest herbalist alive. Trained by the wizard Madawc, she could brew a potion to bring on a gentle slumber, or a philter to drop a foe dead in his tracks. Only one man existed whom she feared--one man who constantly thwarted her will, one detestably handsome, insolent and gifted sorcerer. It was his power that protected the land of Amrodel. But Damir would never turn down her offer of an alliance, and when he arrived at the Mage's Glade and drank of the Wine of Truce, Eliana would spring her trap.

CALLED LOVE
He'd never trusted Eliana Daere. Her beauty had haunted him since their school days, but she was headstrong and impulsive and had reputedly aligned herself with the enemy. That was why Damir found Eliana's offer hard to swallow--he was well-prepared for treachery--and why, when she fell into his hands, he felt no remorse about teaching her a lesson. But he would not use force; he would be gentle. He would craft a seduction so potent that, in the end, she would have to admit to her own desire. It was a strange brew that had brought them together, but nonetheless the sweetest he had ever tasted.
==Book Description==

SHE PICKED UP A RIFLE...
Boston heiress Verity Talmadge marched into the one place a true lady dared not go--the Union Army's muddy, raucous campsite in Falmouth, Virginia. She had come to accuse Major Garrett Knox of being the Confederate spy who had caused her new husband's death. But no one would listen to her--a well-dressed woman in buttons and bows, even if she knew how to prove her mettle, given the chance. So, disguising herself by slipping into a uniform, Verity Talmadge became a soldier...

AND BEGAN A BATTLE FOR LOVE
Garrett Knox needed a sharpshooter for a dangerous raid, and the best man for the job was a woman--the new recruit he recognized immediately as the beautiful widow Verity. As desire stirred, he needed to win her trust, and soon he wanted to win her love. As the woman he adored and the war he hated marched ever closer on a collision course of glory and destiny, he could only hold fast to his dreams--of a land reunited, of a love fulfilled. And tomorrow a brighter dawn
==Book Description==

HER DARKEST HOUR
Ariana awoke in chains, a captive. Her ship had been disabled and her friends hurt, and she was to blame. She had cajoled them into braving the outskirts of space, the uncontrolled areas beyond her father's rule. And now they were to be transported to a non-Intersystem planet where they would be slaves.

A MOMENT OF LIGHT
The world was bleak and shadowy, as were its inhabitants. And though these men were slaves as well, that hardly made them less dangerous. Each was tall, muscular and virile. And ruled by animal instinct. Yet one rose above the others, and Ariana saw in him nobility. This was a prince in a barbarian's body, one who could teach her how to be wild. On this planet with its dark sun, Ariana knew he would help her survive. And she would show him a love that would last through whatever followed.
MEMORY & MELODY

Arnoth of Valenwood was an Ellowan - a sylvan race known throughout the galaxy for their music and their sensuality. And with his warm brown eyes and well-muscled form, Arnoth was the most sensuous of them all, although he had forced his desires to remain dormant in order to serve as a protector to his people. But as a youth, he had glimpsed a dark-haired woman from a faraway planet, a beauty who inspired harmony in the young prince's body and soul.

Sierra of Nirvahda had never known love. But with her long dark tresses and shining eyes she had inspired plenty of it, only to turn away with a tuneless heart. Yet when she found herself deep within a cavern on the red planet of Tseir, her heart began to do strange things. For with her in the cave was Arnoth of Valenwood, the sound of his lyre reaching out to her through the dark and winding passageways. His song spoke to her yearning, an ache she would come to know when he held her body close to his, with the rhythm of their hearts beating for the memory and melody of their souls...

Dane Calydon knew there was more to the mysterious Aiyana than met the eye, but when he removed her protective wrappings, he was unprepared for what he uncovered: a woman beautiful beyond his wildest imaginings. She had claimed to be an amphibious creature, and though he believed that form would complement her scaly demeanor, he'd been seduced by her sweet voice, which penetrated his very soul. Now, with her standing before him in the light of the Midnight Moon, he found himself powerless to resist the allure of her perfect form. Yet he knew she was more than a mere enchantress, for he had glimpsed her healing, caring side. But as secrets from her past overshadowed their happiness, Dane realized he must lift the veil of darkness surrounding her before she could surrender both body and soul to his tender kisses.
What if everything you loved, and everyone, suddenly vanished?
Your parents, your children, your friends. Your home. Your town.
Your species.
All the living beings that defined your world, that gave your heart reason to pump the blood that animates your flesh, that caused you to wake each morning and open your eyes and turn your face to your window to witness the new sun in the new sky; laughter and love and meals around the table and running games in tall grasses, snowball battles in winter; gentle hands holding yours, warm kisses on your lips -- all that gone.
What if it were your doing?
Your future unfurled before you like a map marked with a thick black arrow drawn irrevocably, relentlessly straight toward Extinction. You never knew. You never guessed, until the end.
What would you sacrifice to erase that map?
She is a young drakon of untried powers. He is the powerful second son of the Alpha male from their clan of shapeshifting, supersensual beings. And what she is about to attempt will violate every taboo and break every law that bind the drakon together -- and just may save them from destruction.
A mere seamstress's daughter, Zoe Cyprienne Lane isn't even in the same league as Lord Rhys Langford. Nothing could be more shocking than the notion that she'd set out to find her childhood friend and first true love. But when news arrives in the Carpathian Mountains of Transylvania that Rhys is being held captive, that's just what she does. Guided by her own hidden Gifts and her psychic link to Rhys -- his presence and touch as electric as if he were beside her in the flesh -- Zoe is his last lifeline to a world and a passion he thought he'd never regain. Only reunited, hunter and huntress, can they save the drakon from those who would destroy them all.
==Book Description==
They are the stuff of glittering legend, supersensual creatures able to shape-shift from human to smoke to dragon. Now they face an enemy determined to destroy their dazzling world of magic and passion.
It's a stunning claim: the existence of a lost drakon tribe. And it comes from an intriguing source: a woman calling herself Princess Maricara of Transylvania. Alpha lord Kimber Langford, Earl of Chasen, can't ignore the possibility. For whoever this unknown princess may be, she's dangerous enough to know about his existence -- and where to find him. And indeed, it isn't long before Maricara breaches the defenses of Darkfrith and the walls around Kimber's heart. Yet the princess arrives with urgent news: a mysterious serial killer is targeting the entire drakon race. To save their kind, Kimber and Mari must ally themselves body and soul in a battle that can spell their salvation, their extinction...or both.
==Book Description==
In the remote hills of northern England lives a powerful clan with a centuries-old secret. They are the drakon, shape-shifters who possess the ability to Turn--changing from human to smoke to dragon. And from the very stones of the earth, they hear hypnotic songs of beauty and wonder. But there is one stone they fear....
Buried deep within the Carpathian Mountains lies the legendary dreaming diamond known as Draumr, the only gem with the power to enslave the drakon. Since childhood, Lady Amalia Langford, daughter of the clan's Alpha, has heard its haunting ballad but kept it secret, along with another rare Gift: Lia can hear the future. In it, she realizes that the diamond--along with the fate of the drakon--rests in the hands of Zane, a human...and her future lover. A master thief, Zane is the only man trusted by the drakon to bring them the stone. But Lia knows that he straddles two worlds and will become either her ally-- or her overlord. Now, driven by the urgent song--and by her visions of Zane--Lia breaks every rule to join him. For to protect her tribe she must tie her destiny to that of the one man capable of stealing her future...and destroying her heart.

UNTAMED DESIRE

He was quite simply the most exciting hunk of a man Nisa Calydon had ever seen. Sececca's sinewy strength and chiseled features touched a chord deep inside her - reminding her of a love long gone, of the cruel betrayal of a foolish girls' naive faith.

But Nisa was all grown up now, and she had a crucial job to do. Determined to avert a potentially disastrous war, she had kidnapped the virile off-worlder to fulfill her responsibility. Now she'd have to use Seneca's resemblance to the sworn enemy of her people to pull off a daring masquerade. But the more time she spent with the primitive warrior, the more confused she became.

And suddenly Nisa wasn't so sure how she wanted this assignment to end...For behind Senecca's brawn she found a man of a surprisingly wise and compassionate nature, in his past she found mysteries that needed resolving, and in his arms she found a passion like none she had ever known...
SHE HATES USING MAGIC . . .
Ever since the death of her parents, Sara Temple has rejected her magical gifts. Then, in a moment of extreme danger, she unknowingly sends out a telepathic cry for help--to the one man she is convinced she never wants to see again.

HE'S A POWERFUL WIZARD . . .

Jackson Slater thought he was done forever with his ex-fiancee, but when he hears her desperate plea, he teleports halfway around the world to aid her in a situation where magic has gone suddenly, brutally wrong.

THEY'VE BEEN CHOSEN TO SAVE THE WORLD . . .

But while Sara and Jack remain convinced they are completely mismatched, the Wizard Council feels otherwise. A dark force is killing some of the world's most influential wizards, and the ex-lovers have just proved their abilities are mysteriously amplified when they work together. But with the fate of the world at stake, will the violent emotions still simmering between them drive them farther apart . . . or bring them back into each other's arms?
