Megan Kelly read her first Harlequin Romance as a teenager and became an avid reader. She dreamed of writing those exciting and moving stories she loved. After years (and years) of writing, she finally sold to Harlequin American Romance in 2007. Her first two books were published in 2008, Marrying The Boss and The Fake Fiancee. The Marriage Solution will be published in May 2011, with another, as yet untitled, book to follow later in the year. She lives in the Midwest with her husband and two children and is well-known at her local bookstore and library.
Book Description
All his life Mark Collins has been fighting for a place to belong. Now just when he thinks the hard-earned family business is within reach, his adoptive grandfather's will has named a challenger.

Leanne Fairbanks belongs in Collins Company as much as Mark does--and she's just as determined to become its next CEO. Until her handsome rival starts arousing feelings that have nothing to do with business. With a lot more than who's going to be boss at issue, Leanne has to decide whether winning the battle will lose her the war--especially when it's her heart at stake....
Romantic Times BOOKClub - 4 Stars: Megan Kelly's latest rings with true wit and features a secondary romance that's just as deft as the primary relationship. Kelly isn't afraid to plunge to true emotional depths or confront the complexitities of nontraditonal families in this sure-to-be favorite!

Simply Romance Reviews - Marrying the Boss was a story of love lost and found, family, and competitiveness. This was another refreshing palate cleanser that leave[s] you with warm fuzzies. Ms. Kelly has added a new fan to her list.

CataRomance Reviews - Marrying the Boss is an engaging tale of love when you least expect it. The Apprentice-like competition kept me in stitches to see what Lionel had up his sleeve for these two remarkable individuals. For fans of pure romantic fun, Marrying the Boss is sure to please.

Book Description
From Single Mother...

Joe Riley is desperate. His well-meaning mother will stop at nothing to marry him off! With no time to date, let alone find a wife, Joe does the next best thing. He hires single mom Lisa Meyer to pose as his fiancée.

To Standby Bride?

When Lisa says yes to Joe, the hardworking caterer sees their arrangement strictly as a business deal. She pretends to be engaged to him; he accepts her bid to cater his year-end company party. It's a win-win. Until their feelings start getting in the way. Feelings that have nothing to do with business.

Can the town's most eligible bachelor convince his "fiancée" to take a chance on him and take that fateful walk down the aisle--together?

Reviews
4 Stars--Romantic Times magazine

Lisa Meyer takes desperate measures when she agrees to pose as Joe Riley's fiancee. Lisa, a caterer with two kids, has been suffering financially and emotionally since her husband deserted her. Joe's only real emotional commitment is to his sick mother. Despite their differences, things heat up
when Joe and Lisa are together. But the last thing Joe meant to do was fall in love with The Fake Fiancee (4). Megan Kelly's first-rate supporting characters and the genuine emotion of the couple will help readers remember the difficulty of learning to trust.
CataRomance Reviews

A cute sassy romance, THE FAKE FIANCEE, entertains as Joe and Lisa pretend their way to true love. Adorable kids, an interfering mother and best friend Ginger, who should have her own story, are all integral parts which add interest. Megan Kelly has created a “must read” with THE FAKE FIANCEE.

With a lot more than who's going to be boss at issue, Leanne has to decide whether winning the battle will lose her the war--especially when it's her heart at stake....
Romantic Times BOOKClub - 4 Stars: Marrying the Boss pits businessman Mark Collins against teacher Leanne Fairbanks in a high-stakes game of business warfare to win the Collins Company. The company's founder, Lionel, creates an Apprentice-style game to test who would be the better CEO after his death: heir apparent, Mark, or heir actual, Leanne. But Lionel never expected that the real prize would be love. Megan Kelly's latest rings with true wit and features a secondary romance that's just as deft as the primary relationship. == Book Description ==
