====Heather's History====
Heather grew up in a lazy southern town located somewhere in NE Arkansas. The oldest of three, she excelled in school but never knew what she wanted to do. She always loved to tell stories and wrote many shorts throughout her years in school, but never actively considered a career in writing, despite being a member of the school paper for a few years.

It wasn't until after the birth of her fourth child in 2002 that Heather decided to write that first great novel...which sadly flopped. No one was interested in a cowboy, so after an author chat at Writerspace, Heather struck up a conversation with writer R. Casteel, who encouraged her to write something to submit to Ellora's Cave. The great internet search began, because she had never heard of such a place. With research done, she sat down to write her first paranormal and second completed story, which sold to Ellora's Cave in March 2003. For various reasons, the book was never released, but it was still the beginning of Heather's writing career.

Heather's first book to be released was the short story titled, The Beauty Within, a retelling of the classic Medusa myth in which the famed gorgon managed to find true love. To this day, Heather continues to crank out fanciful tales of love set in many different places and genres.

The Beauty Within was Heather Holland's first published work. Released in September 2003, this short story created quite a stir when it was discovered the heroine was a rather most unlikely character--Medusa. Heather had always felt Medusa got the short end of the stick and was determined to find a way for her to get the happy ending she deserved. The end result was the Ellora's Cave quickie, The Beauty Within.

This title is currently out of print.

Heather Holland's third release. This short story was originally written as a joke, but Heather was soon talked into cleaning it up and finishing it. The end result was Jungle Magic, a short story about a man sent to protect a treasure and the surprise he gets once he finds said treasure in the futuristic jungles of Central America. Cover art created by Heather's husband, John.

====Heather's History====
Heather grew up in a lazy southern town located somewhere in NE Arkansas. The oldest of three, she excelled in school but never knew what she wanted to do. She always loved to tell stories and wrote many shorts throughout her years in school, but never actively considered a career in writing, despite being a member of the school paper for a few years.

It wasn't until after the birth of her fourth child in 2002 that Heather decided to write that first great novel...which sadly flopped. No one was interested in a cowboy, so after an author chat at Writerspace, Heather struck up a conversation with writer R. Casteel, who encouraged her to write something to submit to Ellora's Cave. The great internet search began, because she had never heard of such a place. With research done, she sat down to write her first paranormal and second completed story, which sold to Ellora's Cave in March 2003. For various reasons, the book was never released, but it was still the beginning of Heather's writing career.

Heather's first book to be released was the short story titled, The Beauty Within, a retelling of the classic Medusa myth in which the famed gorgon managed to find true love. To this day, Heather continues to crank out fanciful tales of love set in many different places and genres.

The Drigon's Fall was Heather's second published work and her first full length novel to be released. Originally published in January 2004, it was expanded and rereleased in October 2005 and released in print in March 2006, making it Heather's first print book. The book is categorized as a SciFi Romance.

The last thing Captain Dawson Lang ever wanted on his ship the Drigon was a woman, and now he's stuck with a female medical officer on a mission to a dead planet. She beguiles him and distracts him to the point of madness. Out of sheer frustration, he creates a holo-program in her image so he can carry out his fantasies, even if only in virtual reality.

Meredith is fighting a strong attraction to the handsome captain, though having to report to him on a regular basis isn't helping her resolve any. When disaster strikes and the mighty ship falls, she finds her budding romance with the captain growing as danger lurks just out of sight.
On the planet's icy surface, a predator unlike any they've ever known stalks them, picking off the crew one by one while they await rescue. They can only pray that help arrives in time!

Note: Previously released in 2004, this novel has been extensively revised and expanded.
