The [[Abberwick Tea and Spice|Abberwick Tea & Spice]] shop is owned by Molly Abberwick, the heroine of [[Jayne Ann Krentz|Jayne Ann Krentz's]] [[Absolutely, Positively|''Absolutely, Positively'']]. Molly bought the shop from Zinnia Pipewell, whose name is reminiscent of Krentz's character in the novel [[Zinnia|''Zinnia'']]. 

In [[Deep Waters|''Deep Waters'']], another book from [[Jayne Ann Krentz]], the hero, Elias Winters, orders his tea from [[Abberwick Tea and Spice|Abberwick Tea & Spice]], creating a connection between the two stories.
