Eliza Parks lives a lonely life—or at least she would if a ghost from her past didn’t haunt her. She’s lived with the nightmares and the ghost for two decades, but the time has finally come for her to put the past to rest. However, the task is much easier said than done. In order to find the peace she so desperately wants, she must first return to her childhood home and face the demon of her past—literally.

Once back in Cadence, she finds herself face-to-face with the only boy she ever truly loved, Travis Monroe. But the man before her is not the boy she remembers. Can she make him believe her about the demon and get him to help? It looks like a lost cause, until the demon returns and takes Travis’ little girl. Now they must work together to save his daughter and destroy the demon before it destroys them.
