Brisco''', '''Pat Brisco''', '''Patricia Matthews''', '''Denise Matthews''' and '''Laura Wylie'''. <br /> <br /> Patricia started writing poetry, juvenile books a play and fantasy and mystery short stories, and she signed under diferent names: Patricia Ernst, P.A. Brisco and Pat A. Brisco. With the names of Patty Brisco and Pat Brisco she wrote [[gothic]] romances. When the market for gothic novels softened, at the suggestion of the Matthews's agent, she began writing romance novels under her second married name, Patricia Matthews.
