Quiet little Lee Travers was taking a big step when she gave up her job as a teacher in a small village school to go to work on a tiny island in the Indian Ocean. Stranded in Mombasa for a fortnight after missing a connecting boat, she did at least get the opportunity of sampling a little of the town's night life - and realised how out of her depth she was in such glamorous surroundings. Certainly she was not yet ready to cope with what she soon realised was an overwhelming attraction to the forceful Nick Reynolds. So Lee wasn't altogether sorry to move on to Half-Moon Island. Even if she ever met Nick again, he wasn't likely to bother her any more now, was he? Especially now that, for the best of reasons, she was pretending to be another man's wife!<br />
