By the time I'd reached ninety pages, my DH asked why I didn't write the story for myself. I told him they weren't my characters, but he asked why I couldn't change the characters enough to make them my own.&lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;Well, duh. That seemed a no-brainer. I'd been altering TV show endings for decades because I felt they should have ended differently. And I'd been writing entirely new episodes of my favorite shows in my head.
