''Soulful Sex: Erotic Tales of Fantasy & Romance Volume III'' is seven stories in the "erotica with soul" style of [[Diana Laurence]], and was published in both ebook and trade paperback formats in 2006. It includes these stories:

"Hunter" -- (a mermaid story) The young mermaid Loreste has long been fascinated by human males, particularly the mysterious, enigmatic seaman called Hunter. In Loreste's efforts to get closer to the man, she is willing to defy the taboos of her people as well as put their secrets and her life at risk. The mermaid's curiosity finally gets the better of her, and she pays the price by becoming Hunter's captive.

"The Queen's Lady and Her King" -- (medieval fantasy) Ever since she was a little girl and he a young prince, Anslyn adored Edan. Now that she is a lady and he her king, Anslyn has tried to set aside her girlish dreams. But fate has another plan in store for her. Suddenly Anslyn finds herself charged by King Edan himself to a most ironic duty: to serve as companion to his new queen.

"The Guy from Beadsville" -- (contemporary) For an accountant, Melanie's life is the perfect cliché--ordered, disciplined, sensible. And it's making her crazy. She hopes a vacation will give her a fresh outlook, so decides to get a second job part-time to finance it. Little does she suspect that her unusual and sexy new "boss" will upset all her orderly plans.

"The Frontier" -- (science fiction paranormal) For some mysterious reason, the natives decide to attack settlers Rebekkah, her husband and her brother. Her only hope of survival lies in the hands of Raniwa, who defies his tribe. When she learns why, it will become even harder for Rebekkah to resist the handsome, exotic stranger determined to save her life and bring their peoples together.

"The Seduction of Squire Meg" -- (medieval fantasy) When the renowned Black Knight sets his sights upon her, young Meg is determined to be prudent and resist the advances of a man she can never wed. Nevertheless, she agrees to his unconventional request to serve as his squire, never guessing that jousting is not the only consummate skill possessed by Sir Peter the Black.

"Masquerade" -- (contemporary) Lindy's day job has its downside: in the person of her co-worker, Kyle. But all the men in her life aren't unpleasant. There's also her mysterious online pen pal, a man who is preternaturally sensitive to her needs and desires, and seems capable of fulfilling even her ultimate fantasy. When Lindy allows the cyber-fling to go a little far, she learns that masks sometimes hide some staggering surprises.

"The Verity of the Vampyre" -- (Regency paranormal) In the year 1819, Emily Lyndon has determined to write a novel on the subject of vampires. She is entranced by the idea of a vampire hero, until distraction arrives in the form of the visitor Mr. Wellsley. The mysterious man proves so captivating to Emily, she begins to wonder why he has really come to her.
