==Book Description==

When Catriona Ross went to take up her inheritance at Ben Ross, she found the situation there different from what she had expected. For one thing, it was not certain that she would inherit Ben Ross. The solicitor told her that she would have to live at Ben Ross for three months and her inheritance would be decided by what happened during those three months. This would have been all right, but here were two men around the place whose inheritance it seemed - Catriona did not know why - would be affected by her actions. Her emotions were certainly stirred by both of them - Neil, the fair, handsome laird, and Nick, the dark, inperturbable Australian, who thought that women had one thing in common with horses, "take the spirit out of them and they're better tempered but not so interesting." But who was Nick - and why was he there at all? Was he up to no good? Certainly, Neil strongly disapproved of her even meeting the Australian. Altogether, it was quite an eventful three months for Catriona at Ben Ross - culminating in the great day when all was revealed!
