==Book Description==

Weep Not Fair Lady is the story of a murderer. Larry Sungail is an ordinary man who, after many years service has worked himself up to the position of assistant manager of the Seaboard Bank's leading branch in San Bernadino, California. His marrige has been tranquil if not happy; then one day he needs a new secretary - and he falls in love.

When the story opens, the situation has gone on for several years, during which period he has stolen some twenty thousand dollars for his mistress, who is a very clever as well as enticing bit of femininity. The man whose bonds he has taken dies unexpectedly one day - the very day he learns he is to receive the coveted position of bank manager. He is torn by conflicting emotions - there seems no way out.

Then Larry recalls his wifes insurance policy, it will be just enough with double indemnity. From that moment Larry Sungail is a lost soul.
