Biography

Cindy Dees owes her writing career to her mom and a one-dollar bill. She bet her mother a dollar that she could write a publishable novel, and although that first book will probably never see the light of day[1], she has since written for both the Silhouette Bombshell and Intimate Moments lines.

Cindy Dees was a double 2008 RITA® finalist in the RITA®: Contemporary Series Romance: Suspense/Adventure category for her novels The Medusa Affair and The Medusa Seduction. She was also a 2007 RITA Award Finalist. Cindy Dees was a 2010 RITA® finalist in the RITA®: Contemporary Series Romance: Suspense/Adventure category with her novel The Soldier's Secret Daughter.
