Book Description

Blurb 1

From fictiondb.com:

Susan took her engagement to Warren Sullivan seriously. He was handsome, rich and in love with her.

Perhaps things were a little humdrum between them. But not until that insufferable Mitch Braden came along did doubts enter her mind. Certainly there were none of the sparks that shimmered between her and Mitch--even though his attitude infuriated her. "I haven't time to play fair," he warned.

The sooner Mitch took himself off again better! But... did she really want him to go?

Blurb 2

From paperbackswap.com:

Who did she really love? Until now Susan had taken her engagement to Warren Sullivan seriously. He was handsome, rich and in love with her. Perhaps things were a little humdrum between them. But not until that insufferable Mitch Braden came along did doubts enter her mind. Certainly there were none of the sparks that shimmered between her and Mitch - even though his attitude infuriated her. "I haven't time to play fair," he warned. The sooner Mitch took himself off again the better! But...did she really want him to go?

Warren's vice vibrated with rage. "You can't mean Mitch Braden is going to be living in the same house as you!" "I'm serious," Susan replied in a forced calm voice. "Your parents actually invited him to stay?" Her fiance shook his head in disbelief. "Didn't you tell them what kind of man he is?" "What could I tell them? That he pays me outrageous compliments? That he flirts with me? They would have laughed and invited him anyway. They like him." The impatience she felt toward the whole mess made her voice sharp. "So what would you have me do, Warren - move out?" Warren looked grim. "I have a feeling there's going to be trouble," he muttered. And Susan echoed the thought ... but only to herself.
