Christine Rimmer, a California native who now makes her home in Oklahoma, is the author of over 60 novels. She began writing fiction in 1984 and published her first novel in 1987, The Road Home. Her work has appeared on various bestseller lists including USA Today and Waldenbooks. She is also the recipient of the Romantic Times Magazine Reviewers' Choice Award for Best Silhouette Special Edition for her title A Hero For Sophie Jones. Rimmer is also a three-time RITA finalist. She studied theater and has produced plays in various venues. She has also published short fiction and poetry in literary journals.

As an author for Harlequin Temptation, Christine Rimmer published one novel. Christine Rimmer has written over 60 contemporary romances for Silhouette.
