Passion, love and adventure on the high seas.

It’s the last thing Elizabeth Miller expects when pirates kidnap her. The governor’s eldest daughter, she is all too aware that she’s in a position to be the target of rogues after a ransom, but little does she realise that she had been taken by mistake! Brought onboard The Merciless, Elizabeth quickly becomes embroiled in a tumultuous journey of love and revenge.

Five years have passed since Marlin, captain of The Merciless, lost everything and swore vengeance upon Charles, the man whole stole the life Marlin should’ve had. When Marlin’s crew capture Elizabeth, a woman Charles has designs on, he realises the tides are turning in his favour and plots to take the life of his long-time adversary.

As his plan unfolds, Marlin can only watch as his beautiful captive comes to life, transformed by the freedom of the ocean, and draws to the surface a man he’d long forgotten. Taken further and further from society, Elizabeth finds she’s no longer bound by its rules, and discovers an intense passion within herself—a passion stirred by the man who has taken her captive.

Will Elizabeth surrender what she has found to return to society? Or will she fight by the side of the pirate captain who won her heart and earned her love? Will Marlin put an end to his past, or will he lose everything, including Elizabeth?
