Texas Confidential was a five-book miniseries about a secret government agency operating in Texas. The first four books were published in Harlequin's Intrigue line; the final book was published in the American Romance line.

The popularity of the series led to several spinoff miniseries, with separate branches being established in Montana, Chicago, Colorado, New Orleans and Miami.
