In July 2000 Mills & Boon overworked it's imprints completely. All got a new, uniform cover and some were started anew under a different name. The Modern Romance™ imprint replaced the Mills & Boon Presents™ imprint.

According to the publisher the stories are set against a backdrop of luxury, wealth and international locations, and couples are swept up in intense emotion. Seduction and passion guaranteed!.

Apart from the Mills & Boon releases titles from the Harlequin Duets and Silhouette Romance imprint are included in the line. Since June 2007 the imprint is simply called Modern™.
