Lynne Marshall

Lynne Marshall published a short story for Woman’s World magazine in March 2006. She has also sold eleven Medical Romance© novels to Harlequin Mills & Boon since November of 2005, and more recently two books to Harlequin Special Edition. She also writes for The Wild Rose Press e-publisher.

After twenty-six years as a registered nurse working in a busy hospital and clinic in the state of California, she decided to further pursue her writing career. Besides her love for medical romance, she also writes single title contemporary romance stories, which she calls boomer lit, because she feels it’s never too late to fall in love.

Lynne joined the Romance Writers of America in 2001, and her local RWA chapter Los Angeles Romance Authors, soon thereafter. She has attended almost every national RWA conference since 2002 and attributes everything she has learned about writing to this wonderful organization. She has won, placed, or been a finalist in over a dozen RWA chapter sponsored contests before publishing, continues to submit to published author contests, and also donates time as a judge each year.

Lynne is a rare California native and lives forty miles northeast of Los Angeles with her husband of three decades. She is also a proud mother of an adult daughter and son. When not writing, she loves to travel, read, walk and hike, see movies, and visit tried and true restaurants for Italian, Mexican and Japanese and seafood.
