Her first published novel was Guardian Angel. As a member of the Heart Of Dixie chapter of the Romance Writers of America, Jones served in various positions, including vice-president. Jones was the 2008 recipient of the Emma Merritt Service Award from the Romance Writers of America.
Linda Winstead Jones was a 2008 RITA® double-finalist in the RITA®: Best Paranormal Romance category with her novels Prince Of Magic and Raintree: Haunted. She was the 2004 RITA winner in the RITA®: Best Paranormal Romance category with her novel Shades Of Midnight, written under the name Linda Fallon.
