Book Description
Parry was innocent. But there was too much on the other side and on his practically nothing. The jury had decided he was guilty. The judge had handed him a life sentence. He would be looking at barred windows for the rest of his life....and he was innocent.
Like a snake gliding into a pool, the thought of escape had entered his mind, and one day he did manage the impossible, and escaped the encircling walls of the prison.
That was the beginning of the hunt. He could trust no one. Every time he moved or spoke he was afraid, tense, suspicious. Afraid with a kind of frantic suspicion of every man, woman and child who looked at him. But he had to keep from getting caught...long enough anyway to prove he had not murdered his wife...long enough to find out who did kill her.
