Romantic mystery/thriller is a sub-genre of the Romance Genre. In addition to the romance, the storyline will contain elements of danger to the hero or heroine and generally exhibits graphic sexual situations. This is a darker version of the romantic suspense novels and may or may not have an H.E.A. (Happy Ever After) ending as with traditional romances.
