Chloe Cheshire is the author of the 1994 Regency Romance A Gypsy At Almack's. The name is a pseudonym used by children's author Laura Amy Schlitz, whose book Good Masters, Sweet Ladies!: Voices from a Medieval Village win the 2008 Newberry Medal, and whose book Splendors and Glooms just recently won a Newberry Honor award. She is also the author of numerous other books for children, including A Drowned Maiden's Hair. She works as a librarian in Baltimore, Maryland.
