Susan Napier is the pen of Susan Potter (b. 1954). She was born on Valentine's Day, making for a natural lead-in to her career. Before turning to fiction-writing, she worked as a journalist, and then she married the boss. As many others she started to write while staying at home because of her children. Her first book for Mills & Boon, Sweet Vixen was launched in Paperback as part of a New Authors Pack in August 1984.
