Book Description

It was their last Christmas together. Housemother Carol Shaw wanted to make it special for Frank, Nicky, Dorcas, Kathy and Candy-children who'd never had a family and faced an uncertain future in foster homes.

Help arrived from an unexpected quarter when baseball pro Mike Rafferty came to St. Christopher's. Mike brought excitement into all their lives, playing catch with the boys and doting on the little girls.

And then the snow came, bringing with it Carol's dearest wish for her charges. Mike, Carol and the children were going to celebrate the holiday as a family, with joy and love.

Both Carol and the children wished Christmas could last forever....
