Book Description

People would never forget the summer Jake Quincannon came back to Riverbend-and turned the head of the town librarian.

Paige Cudahy was a steady, quiet young woman but she set tongues wagging when she took up with the rural community's notorious rebel.

With his black leather jacket straining across his broad shoulders and a black patch covering one eye, Jake confirmed predictions that he'd come to no good-and confounded those who tried to imagine what Paige saw in him.

Still, no one expected that the summer would end the way it did....
