Silhouette Special Edition titles are longer romances published by Silhouette. They were originally established as the more sophisticated answer to sweet romances released by the publisher. Silhouette Special Edition was the longtime home to superstar author Nora Roberts for her category romance titles.

From April 2011 releases onwards, this imprint became a Harlequin Imprint with numbering continuing from where they left off as Harlequin Special Edition.
