Book Description

Blythe Daniels had looked forward to spending a week camping in the Adirondack mountains. After reaching the shelter high up in the woods, she discovered that someone else as there--a man wearing a shoulder holster and a definitely menacing expression.

Blythe recognized him immediately as Clay Bergstrom, a New York City detective accused of killing his partner. Clay wasted no time in making Blythe his captive, or in using his skills to elude the scores of policemen hot on his trail.

She could only hope that his story of having been framed for murder was true--otherwise, this would be her last journey into the wilderness....
