True crime writer, Maddie Jones, goes to Truly, Idaho to research and write a book about her mother's death there when Maddie was just five years old. Her mother, Alice, was a waitress in a bar and was having an affair with the owner of the bar, Loch Hennessy. His wife, Rose, shot Alice and Loch and then herself. Maddie particular dreads meeting the two surviving Hennessy children, Mick and Meg. Turns out that Mick is just as hot and charming as his father must have been.
