Book Description

Venice attorney Faith Karell would never be rich and famous--she didn't want to be. Faith lived on principles and thrived on justice fairly meted out. Faith had no use for lawyers who sought newspaper headlines and commanded fat fees--the kind of reward the defense attorney would garner for his part in the upcoming trial. The defendant was the worst sort of criminal, and Faith swore she'd get him convicted. The only thing that stood in her way was defense attorney Jim Stanten, a lawyer reputed to be unbeatable, unscrupulous, a man willing to go to any length to preserve his reputation!
