Transgressions was a Lambda Literary finalist for gay romance in 2009.
It is 1642. England is on the brink of civil war.
David Caverly is a beautiful but indolent youth, who dreams of honour and glory and joining the King's Army. His father employs Jonathan Graie as an apprentice smith - Jonathan is a Puritan and although shocked by David's behaviour and blasphemous mouth, he is inexorably drawn to him.
The English Civil War blows their world apart. This novel covers one of the most turbulent periods of English history where brother fought against brother, son against father.
David and Jonathan go through hell in their search for truth and love, but will they ever find each other again?
