Susan Donovan is a New York Times bestselling author of nine novels and three novellas (as of May, 2010). She lives in Maryland and is a member of the Washington Romance Writers. She was born and grew up in Ohio and attended Northwestern University. She graduated with a degree in journalism and a minor in Japanese language and sociology, then went on for her master’s degree.

Her novel, The Kept Woman, was nominated for a 2007 RITA in the Best Contemporary Single Title category. Her 2003 novel, Take A Chance On Me, was the Romantic Times Magazine Reviewers Choice Award winner in the Contemporary Romance category.
