Erin McCarthy sold her first novel in 2002 as a result of winning a contest run by author Lori Foster. She has since published twenty-four novels. She also writes Young Adult fiction under the name Erin Lynn.
Her novel, Heiress For Hire, was nominated for a 2007 RITA in the Best Contemporary Single Title category.
