Barbara Bretton is the bestselling author of more than 40 novels, most of which are romances. She sold her first book in 1982, to romance industry legend Vivian Stephens. After writing a fan letter to Bertrice Small, Bretton became close friends with the author, a relationship that continues to this day. She is a recipient of Romantic Times Magazine Career Achievement Award and Reviewer's Choice awards.
