Allison Lane is the pen name of Susan Ann Pace. Born in Minnesota, she earned degrees in mathematics and computer science from the University of Illinois and spent several years in software design. She always loved to read and when her children were out of school, she started to write Regency romances. Her first novel (The Rake's Rainbow) was published in the Signet Regency Romance line in 1996. Her last titles were solely published as eBooks. She lives in San Jose, California.
