Tormented, telepathic doctor Ian Carrick nurses an unusual young woman back to health after she throws herself off a cliff, breaking her skull and destroying her face. Ian believes healing Selena, as he names the mysterious woman, will restore his tattered reputation, but Selena believes Ian needs spiritual healing as much as she needs medical care.
