Description
Mr. Impossible is the story of irresponsible, irrepressible Rupert Carsington and widow Daphne Pembroke. Daphne's brother Miles, presumed to be a scholar who has unlocked the secrets of heiroglyphics, is kidnapped, and the English authorities in Egypt are more than happy to allow Rupert to help Daphne find her brother -- though they interpret help as keeping her safe in Cairo. What follows is a road trip mystery with two villains, a cast of characters collected by Daphne and Rupert, and a mongoose named Marigold (never fear -- she's not after Rupert; it's Miles that she loves).
