Christie Ridgway writes romance with a California style. She met her husband during college in Santa Barbara, and after starting a family she turned her hand to writing. For a number of years she worked as a technical writer and computer programmer. Then she rediscovered the joy of romance novels between rounds of Lego-building and reading GOODNIGHT MOON to her young sons. She began writing for Silhouette in 1996, and began publishing single titles with Avon in 2000.
