Nicole Reid looked forward to leaving Tangier, Morocco, and returning to New Orleans in time for Mardi Gras. Being pursued by a gray-eyed Arab through crowded bazaars was more than unsettling.
Then she ran into her former husband, Damien Ravenel, who hinted he'd see her back in Louisiana. But the only person Nicole wanted to see there was Michael Flynn, whom she'd always considered her hero when she was a young girl.
