Television producer, Carly McKay, goes to Bilby, Arizona, to interview psychic quiltmaker Brandywine Seaver, who gives her a quilt and makes several predictions about Carly's life. Then the predictions start to come true -- most momentous of which, she loses her job and her mother returns after a 17 year absence. Carly returns to Bilby to get answers from Brandywine and seek refuge in the tight-knit artists' community.
